With the exception of the NADH dehydrogenase subunit 6 (ND6) and 8 tRNA genes, all other mitochondrial genes are encoded on the heavy strand. The phylogenetic analysis by neighbour-joining (NJ) method showed that H. agrammus has the closer relationship with Hexagrammos otakii and Hexagrammos lagocephalus in the phylogenetic relationship. |
