Preservation of fossils in the Šárka Formation (Darriwilian, Czech Republic)
The Šárka Formation is a well-known, fossiliferous Ordovician deposit in Bohemia. It has been targeted by fossil collectors since the 19th century due to the excellent preservation of many fossils.
