要約:Among the 23 prose works by Tradeusz Konwicki (novels, short stories, autobiographic essays), 16 have been translated into at least one foreign language. There are a total of 88 translations into 24 foreign languages, and these translations have been published in 28 countries. These average data are sufficient to show that Konwick, a difficult author writing in a language considered as "semi-peripheric" and representative of a so-called "dominated" culture is however a rather well-known, world-scale author. However, the presence of his works on the "world map of translations" is very unequal. If we analyse the periods when the translations were published, in connection with their context (country, political regime), we can observe that the reception of Konwicki's works has been and remains determined by extra-literary and extra-editorial factors, mainly ideological.
