Brazilian organoclays as nanostructured sorbents of petroleum-derived hydrocarbons

Organophilic clays were prepared using a bentonite from the town of Boa Vista, state of Paraíba, Brazil, and a quaternary ammonium salt (Genamin CTAC-50).
