| Summary: | This article discusses the features of the design activity as a creative process (personal and activity orientation, logical and epistemological determinism, motivational and transformational orientation); describes the relationship of design and creativity. In this regard, the design activity is considered as a system of research aimed at finding new, effective forms and methods of organization, implementation and support of educational process, professional competence and skills of teachers, the development of creative potential; and discusses the design activity of the teacher as a creative process (predictive, integrative, system, information, management, reflective, technological, scientific and technical).
