Description
Summary:The objective of this article is to extract and compile words diatopically marked as Andalusisms in a metalinguistic source. In particular, it reviews the Diccionario de la lengua española (1917) by José Alemany y Bolufer, a lexicographic repertoire published in the first quarter of the 20th century. Our view of dialectalisms encompasses the words marked as such in the dictionary object of study. Besides keeping a record of Andalusisms, they are brought together in the annex and their first occurrence is dated with help of the Nuevo tesoro lexicográfico de la lengua española (NTLLE, 2001). We also check whether the unit in question is circumscribed to the region of Andalusia still today.
