Description
Summary:Several tiles from a hypocaust pile were unearthed during a diagnostic survey carried out in 2011 in the municipality of Châtelet-sur-Sormonne. They come from a bathing facility linked to an ancient rural establishment. One of the tiles is stamped TRPS. This mark, which is well known among the Tungri and Nervians, raises questions on the supply of construction materials during Antiquity in this part of the Ardennes.
