description The “Tabula Bianchini”, discovered on Mount Aventine in Rome and now kept in the Louvre Museum, is one of the tools that astrologers used to establish horoscopes. In 1931 Wilhelm Gundel proposed a ludic hypothesis regarding the use of the “Tabula”. We will revisit his commentary, relating it to other ludic objects that may have had astrological use, including graffiti consisting of an eight-part circle and a rock crystal icosahedron. The analysis will make it possible to underline the existing links between the sphere of play, astrology and divination, so frequent in ancient literature.
