Summary: In view of the toxicity and occupational health risks associated with the traditional cyanide silver plating process,a study of the cyanide-free silver plating process was carried out.Through Hull Cell experiments and observation and comparison of experimental phenomena,the process parameters of cyanide-free silver plating were determined and optimized.Results showed that when the process conditions were temperature of 35~45 ℃,pH value of 9.0~10.0 and current density of 0.1~1.2 A/dm2,the as-prepared silver plating coating with a flat appearance,high purity,and uniform brightness was obtained.Moreover,the plating bath had the advantages of good stability and high current efficiency,which possessed market application potential.
