COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF FRYDERYK CHOPIN’S AND JOHN FIELD’S NOCTURNES
Music History holds John Field as the creator of the nocturne genre. The purpose of this work is to reveal the formal, tonal and stylistic features that prove the influence of the Irish composer on Fryderyk Chopin's compositions of the same genre.
