总结:The aim of this article is to analyse the reactivation, in the wake of Marxist and post-Marxist thought, of utopian discourse in literature around the notion of the possible. Through an analysis of Alain Damasio’s novel Les Furtifs, published in 2019 by La Volte, we demonstrate that contemporary utopian discourse allows us to problematise the neoliberal city through its function of disruption (Jameson), which unfolds on several scales – ranging from lexical disruptions to the representation of urban disruptions – and at different levels – from representation to reading. In other words, the disruption produced by utopia interweaves the hermeneutics of the contemporary city under capitalist rule with the heuristics of the emancipatory potential of a shared use of the city. In this way, the novel uses science fiction to develop a critical reading of the contemporary city that updates a Marxist discourse.
