Praca podejmuje tematykę ojcostwa w kontekście transferu wartości w rodzinie.  Pierwsza część pracy ma charakter ściśle teoretyczny i poświęcona jest analizie ról ojca w rodzinie. Transformacja systemowa, globalizacja i ponowoczesność – to trzy zidentyfikowane konteksty przeobrażeń, które stają się ostatecznie punktem wyjścia do opisu specyfiki transferu wartości w rodzinie. Część druga pracy ma charakter empiryczny i stanowi próbę zdiagnozowania jakości przekazu aksjologicznego. Badania przeprowadzono techniką ankiety audytoryjnej na celowo dobranej próbie młodzieży szkolonej.   The work discusses the question of fatherhood in the context of axiological transmission in the contemporary family. The first part of the work is strictly theoretical and is devoted to the analysis of father’s roles in the family. A systemic transformation, the globalization and post-modernity constitute three identified contexts of transformations which are become a starting point for the description of the specificity of the values-transfer in the family.  The second part of the work has empirical character and is a modest illustration and an attempt at diagnosing the quality of the value-transfer in the contemporary family. Research was conducted by a survey.
