Summary:In this article the history of Adıyaman and its vicinity during the National Struggle will be analyzed on the basis of the archival materials and other sources. Besides Adıyaman, this article also deals with the military assistance given to the militias in Antep, Urfa and Maraş against the occupation by the French army. There are also great details given about the protests made in Adıyaman against the occupation of İstanbul and İzmir by the Allied Armies.
