الملخص:Ophthalmic complications due to sinus diseases are often seen and well known. But ophthalmic complications due to silent sinus syndrome are rare clinical entities. Silent sinus syndrome is known as asymptomatic maxillary sinus disease with spontaneous enophthalmos and hypoglobus. Patients present with symptoms as sinking or pulling sensation of the eye. Most of the patients present to an ophthalmologist for evaluation of the eye asymmetry. The goals of the treatment are relieving the ostial occlusion and decompression and evacuation of the maxillary sinus. In this article, we present two cases with silent sinus syndrome, their treatment and regression of the orbital complaints after sinus surgery.
