description This study aimed to carry out the validity and reliability study of the TOS in Turkish that was originally developed to measure problematic (orthorexia nervosa) and healthy (healthy orthorexia) attitudes and behaviors about healthy eating. For this purpose, a two-stage study was conducted. The sample of the first study consisted of 175 (58.3%) females and 125 (41.7%) males who were 18 years old and older. The average age was 34.25 years (SD = 14.01). Personal Information Form, TOS, ORTO-11 Scale, Eating Attitude Test, Maudsley Obsessive Compulsive Inventory, The Positive and Negative Affect Schedule were used in the first study. The sample of the second study that was conducted for the confirmatory factor analysis of the TOS consisted of 173 (57.3%) females and 129 (42.7%) males who were 18 years old and older. The average age was 26.76 years (SD = 7.95). The results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses indicated that the TOS consisted of 2 factors, as it was in the original form. Furthermore, TOS Cronbach Alfa values were calculated as .86 and .81 respectively for healthy orthorexia and orthorexia nervosa factors. The results of the correlational analyses supported the concurrent and criterion related validity of the scale. The findings revealed that the Turkish version of the TOS can be used as a valid and reliable instrument.
