Discovery of two basal aleocharine species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) in Korea

Two basal Aleocharinae species (Deinopsis modesta Sharp and Adinopsis nippon Maruyama and Kamezawa) are discovered for the first time in the Korean Peninsula. Diagnoses, habitus photographs, and illustrations of the male genitalia of these two species are provided.
