Establishment of Amblyomma maculatum Ticks and Rickettsia parkeri the Northeastern United States

We document a case of Rickettsia parkeri rickettsiosis in a patient in Connecticut, USA, who became ill after a bite from a Gulf Coast tick (Amblyomma maculatum).
