Lermontov and / or Brooklyn in Amanda Michalopoulou’s Short Story “Lermontov”
The short story “Lermontov” by a contemporary Greek writer Amanda Michalopoulou is analyzed in the article. The author of the article reveals in Michalopoulou’s story several allusions to the novel “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” by Betty Smith and to the poems by M. Yu. Lermontov.
