Atypical manifestations of cutaneous leishmaniasis in a boy from Afghanistan
Abstract Cutaneous leishmaniasis is one of the most common forms of leishmaniasis in Afghanistan, which is caused by different Leishmania species that are transmitted to humans by sandflies. Its clinical manifestations are very diverse and depend on a variety of parasite and host factors.
