Management of S‐ICD lead in a patient requiring sternotomy
Key Clinical Message In patients who have had a prior subcutaneous ICD implanted, a sternotomy can be safely performed without the need for replacement of the ICD. Appropriate tools and closure technique during reimplantation are essential for this to be a possibility.
