According to Piñeiro (2006), the technique of collection of the data used was the systematic observation; using for it the notational data base OBANGOFH. The obtained results determine that the side-boards and back-boards zone, the left zone of the goal, the zone GIT, and the long goal posts, are “weak points” of the goalkeeper (male/female). The goalkeeper (male/female) have higher or lower probabilities of receive goal depending on the circle zone from which the forward shoots and the direction of the successful shot at the goal. In addition significant differences exist in relation to the goalkeeper gender. The level of significance established was 95 % (p <0,05). Key Words: field hockey, goalkeeper, goal, performance. https://eurjhm.com/index.php/eurjhm/article/view/200
