Summary:The paper presents one of the concepts of a reconfigurable desktop 5-axis machine that is operated using the PC Linux CNC system EMC2. For realization of control system, the necessaryis included kinematic model , which is embedded in the EMC2 control system. The paper presents configuring of the virtual machine tool that is first integrated with the programming system, and then with the control system. Verification of the control and programming system is achieved using configured virtual machine which is running on the basis of the given program and plotting the programmed tool path.
