Summary:Globalization includes the export and application of Western cultural and socio-economic models, representing a new situation of construction of a new global system described by an enormous capacity of communication and exchange of information. It is believed that globalization is triggering the diversification of national cultures. Mass-media is the main factor behind the spread of globalization. Informational technologies have reached a new peak in history: the internet, TV, the press make information accessible to everyone, reaching all parts of the planet with great speed.
