Description
Summary:The purpose of this study is to simulate and analyze the design of a rear suspension for competition vehicles, of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, in terms of configuration and weight reduction through the use of computational tools, for which will use data obtained from official databases, to know all the conditions that the chassis must meet, in order to study the dynamics of the car (lateral and longitudinal transfer of incident load on the rear suspension), where the loads to which the suspension is subjected. For the evaluation of the dynamic factors of the car (operating conditions, G's forces), the CATIA V5R20 software will be used where the 3D model of the suspension will be made to study the kinematics (geometry) of the mechanism to analyze its behavior. Also by using the software, each one of the data obtained in the study and calculation phase will be reviewed.
