For this, the association between this agro-ecological decision and the endogenous factors of the adoption is studied. When this statistical phenomenon is ignored then it implies a wrong conclusion about the correlation of the variables. To this proposal, a sample of Spanish farmers is used, in whose farms they mainly adopt GAP of soil conservation. The results show the misinterpretation of the correlation results in the adoption of good practices if the implications of Simpson's paradox are not duly taken into account.https://revistabarataria.es/web/pdf/num26/413_Agustin_Bar_26_2019.pdfagricultureenvironmentspainolive-groves
