Grigorenko1Director of "Soborne" PJSC "VTB Bank"Kharkiv National University of EconomicsWith the development of market economy in Ukraine, when a large number of laws are adopted that create barriers to the banking system as a whole and the bank in particular, management becomes technology of great importance, since the main goal of using bank management technology is to achieve the desired results and goals. Modern trends in the development of banking institutions require timely implementation of technologies, since the automation of operations, speed of implementation, collection and processing of information, timeliness of strategic and operational decision-making affect the efficiency of the institution as a whole. As the concept of technology is versatile and applicable to various fields, justification of use of some particular management technology is impossible without specifying the nature and content of the management technology. Considering the relationship of a number of factors affecting the decision-making process, an analysis of different approaches to the definition of management techniques is needed. Various aspects of the problem have been studied by both foreign and domestic scholars, such as A. Bobyleva, T. Kravchenko and V. Presnyakov, N. Ostanina, V. Biskup, A. Vasylenko, E. Golubkov, O. Lebid, V. Moseyko, N. Makarenko, V. Platov, N. Raksha, A. Semenchuk, M. Yatsura et al. However, an unambiguous and clear interpretation of the essence of management technology in the context of the bank management is unavailable which necessitates further research in this issue. Morphological decomposition was conducted to identify and compare existing approaches to the definition of "management technology" through the use of keywords in its characteristic. For this purpose sets of definitions of "management" and "management technology" were selected. Generalization and critical morphological analysis of the concept of "management" was conducted which revealed that the most common approaches to the interpretation of the term "management" include such components as the impact, the process, activities (action), regulation (guidance). Generalization and critical morphological analysis resulted in the definition of management which implies the impact of the subject on the object aimed at ensuring the efficient use of resources in order to improve performance and achieve targets. Thus, management is a peculiar process that ensures the desired outcome goals. On the basis of morphological decomposition, management technology was defined as a structured set of operations that form interconnected managerial procedures aiming to implement control functions and going objectives using specific methods, techniques, tools and instruments. Thus, selecting and applying management techniques that affect the efficiency of a banking institution is of major importance for development and efficient management in general.http://www.ed.ksue.edu.ua/ER/knt/ee134_68/e134les.pdfmanagementtechnologymanagement technologymorphological analysisactivityactionprocess
