Summary: | In this article, I question the rationalities and sensitivities with which those implementing the Law of Victims in Colombia consider the subjects of their intervention. The article is divided into four parts. First, I present empirical elements that show the discrepancies between law, expert knowledge, and situated needs in bureaucratic contexts. Second, I analyze the social production of discordant notes in bureaucratic spheres. Third, I explore the relationship established between science as a distancing device in Colombia and the epistemic fissures underlying the law and the action of professional experts. Fourth, I present guidelines to contribute to destabilizing the westernist outlook of those who, under the authority of Law and Science, impact the life of war victims in Colombia. |
