After analyzing the state of drama studies in Spain, the evolution of its concept of quality and a comparative study with other countries of the European Space of Higher Education, we set the basis for the implementation of an Internal Quality Assurance System in this degree from the analysis of the pioneering experience of the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Castilla y León (Spain).
