This article seeks to reconstruct the trajectory of a specific military in the Navy of Brazil, through the revived memory, especially between the years 1962-1964 in the city of Rio de Janeiro. And from the analysis of his memories seek a better understanding of the experiences of sailors in the state metropolis and its demands related to social issues and those relating to career and naval military activity. Since the demands of these military found several orders barriers, especially the denial of high naval administration in open trading areas related to basic rights of junior squares that force. Still analyzing the escalating crisis between the Admiralty Board and the Sailors and Marines Association of Brazil, as part of the process that culminated in the military coup civil in 1964.
