The use of images is fundamental in mapping works. The compositions of multisources images, approachedin this work, is based in some methods previously known in literature, as derived products of the classicIHS transformation. Such techniques of integration of several nature data, have already being spread fromthe end of the 80s and they have successfully been used until today. To evaluate the integration of radardata with multispectral passive satellite data, thematic mapping and cartographic bases constitutes themain objective of this work.The fusion techniques data originated from different sources (multisources)have been used thoroughly with the intention of generating a final product of good visual quality, for thequantitative and qualitative analyses and for the procedures of visual interpretation in general. Besides, itreduces the costs of field works. Those techniques reached a wide variety of applications inside of thegroup of disciplines within the Earth Sciences.
