Summary:The article discusses the main reasons and mechanisms of developing various types of dependence on cyber-pathology. The classification of psychopathological symptoms and syndromes is described, as well as the pathogenesis of addiction. Studying individual-personal peculiarities of students who have signs of the Internet-addiction, the author singles out those which characterize young people’s predisposition to form dependences (cyber-pathology). Approaches to prevention of cyber-pathology and the Internet- addiction development are offered, as well as the psychotherapy of their symptoms expression.
