Summary: | This study aims to get an overview of the effect of training factors and locus of control on self efficacy and work ability of employees in three-star hotels in East Java. The population in this study is the three-star hotel industry in East Java, which totals 20 hotels and all employees at the three-star hotels in East Java, with a total sample of 501 employees. The analysis technique used is by using path analysis. Based on the analysis of the results and the hypothesis proposed previously that the variables of trainer, training material, training method, training facility, and locus of control partially have a significant effect on the variable of self-efficacy, that is acceptable/true. Meanwhile, the hypothesis which states that the variables of trainer, training material, and training methods and locus of control partially have effect on the variable of work ability can also be accepted, only one hypothesis that cannot be accepted, i.e. the effect of the variable of training facility on work ability.
