Description
Summary:The concept of enunciation, unit material for understanding the discursive functioning within the genres of discourse, opens up many possibilities for the analysis of texts as it expands the boundaries of the object focused. This expansion means that both a sentence as a text or an entire work can be taken as enunciation. Under the Bakhtin’s criteria, the closing of the unit cost is given as it can respond to it, ie, whenever statement, we can learn a “response” and a “question”. In that sense, this category brings to the interpretative and productive process of the discourse the verbal interaction. In this article we outline some considerations made by Bakhtin about this concept and the difference between it and the concepts of sentence and phrase.
