Both the usual income and the actual income from work are considered. The income distributions of all jobs among employed persons and among economically active persons, as well as the distribution of per capita household income, are analyzed. Several concepts and measures are applied and explained: percentiles and deciles, quantile curve, Pen’s parade, first order dominance, Gini index, 10+/40− means ratio, Lorenz curve, etc. Income distributions are compared for men and women and for three skin color categories (white, yellow and black).
