Description
Summary:The anatomical changes in reproductive structures were observed and described frrom button to mature fruit and the phenological states and the structural development of the Cape gooseberry fruit, ecotype Colombia, were established settled down. This investigation was made in a commercial Cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) orchard located in the municipality of Granada, Cundinamarca, Colombia. The study confirmed that anatomically the Cape gooseberry fruits, ecotipo Colombia, and ruderal type are similar, which demonstrates the absence of appreciable anatomical changes that explain the greater size of the fruits of ecotipo Colombia.
