Summary:This monograph deals with the issue of resilience , with the intention to meet this category of analysis of the conceptual point of view. Among the objectives of this study highlight the importance of understanding the possibilities of applying resilient pillars in Youth and Adults - EJA - in the prison context , as a result of the welfare of living in Downtown Women's Reeducation. In this sense , the methodology is guided listening and analysis of life history three inmates , based on descriptive and qualitative nature . For a discussion of the data, we used a questionnaire yet developed and implemented by the group Education Extension Project of the Center for Human Rights " resocialization Women, Human Rights and Citizenship " . The survey results pointed to the need to promote the pillars of resilience through education , since this exercise transposes the boundaries of mere reading and writing required by grafocêntrica society, ie , provides a better social reintegration of women who are in situation in prison and may result in the practice of citizenship.
