Description
Summary:Mineral nutrition of two local cultivars of Galicia viticultural district (NW Spain) was examined. Two cultivars, Merenzao (red) and Godello (white), were grown on different soil conditions and both were grafted on 3309, 420A, 161.49, Rupestris du Lot, 4IB, SA, ll0R and 196.17; Godello was also grafted on 99R. The influence of rootstock and c1imatic annual conditions on N, P, K, Ca and Mg contents of leaf petiole and blade were studied. The rootstock's effect was observed for every nutrients on the two vineyards, while c1imatic conditions (rather water availability) influenced the nutrition of vine growing on the most difficult pedological conditions.
