Summary: | This work consists of a brief analysis of the reverse logistics structure of waste tires, considering a
limited scenario. Thus, the research is characterized as a case study, based on information collected
by the authors. A facility location tool was used to suggest a location for the company that will
receive the waste. To complement the research, an economic feasibility study was presented to justify the choice of alternatives presented. Regarding the results obtained, the authors point out
that it is only a suggestion of improvement of the reverse logistics network of the studied waste,
considering the possibility of new studies, based on other variables to identify the variations of the
results. It is important to inform that, in the case of data collection in a company, it is considered a
limitation of the work the amount of information made available for carrying out the analyzes.
However, it is suggested new research considering also other regions and other residues thus
changing the segments and contributing to the academy
