Description
Summary:Optimism and psychological well-being have been studied with greater dedication in recent years, from the perspective of positive psychology. The objective of this work is to investigate the relationship between both variables by means of a systematic review of the previous literature, thus synthesizing the state of the art of the aforementioned link. From the review, it is concluded that optimism is strongly and positively associated with psychological well-being. Furthermore, the former is a predictor of the latter. However, it is suggested to continue investigating the link between these two constructs in order to know its nature with greater certainty.
