The crystal structures of two title Schiff base derivatives, C15H12N4O·C2H6O (1·EtOH) and C13H13N3O2S (2), were determined at 110 and 100 K, respectively. In the crystal of compound 1·EtOH, the (E)-N′-[(1H-indol-3-yl)methylidene]isonicotinohydrazide and ethanol molecules are linked by O—H...O, N—H.....
