Free applications that use open data provide useful information in real time, tailored to the user experience and / or geographic location. This changes the concept of “service information”. Both the infomediary sector and citizens now have new models of production and dissemination of this type of information. From the theoretical contextualization of aspects such as processes datification of reality, mobile registration of everyday experience, or reinterpretation of the service information, we analyze the role of open data in the public sector in Spain and its application concrete in building apps based on this data sets.
