Description
Summary:This work is about an experience report of integrative internship in psychology and had the objective of expanding intervention strategies with a focus on the area of complementary education as a way of collaborating in the quality of life within the walls and prepare for the challenge of the change in the coexistence in social enviroment. The Intervention Project in Complementary Education was applied in a prison institution of open and semiate male systems, of the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre/RS/Brazil. It was necessary as a reference the Social and Institutional Psychology for a look at the processes that take place in this context and the Ecological Approach of Human Development to pay attention to the prisoners, the imprisonment as an episode of life and the protection/risk factors of their social-affective support network. We obtained as results the amplification of the performance of psychology, reiterating its importance in this context, emphasizing education as a way to work the perception, cognition and critical reflection about oneself and the world considering the participants in their integrality and building a relationship of respect the collectivity, envisioning life projects for social integration. This experience also denoted the importance of deconstructing practices that reiterate social exclusion and break with the gaps between professionals in the system. Finally, psychology must propose a greater dynamicity in order to attend to the institutional processes and the social demands that devastate the daily life.
