| Summary: | The uncertainty of the economic environment creates risks which threaten the functioning of the power sector enterprises and undermine country economic security. In this connection, the issues of threat and hazard identification in view of early warning and timely application of protection and countermeasures are becoming highly relevant. The purpose of this study is to consider practical aspects of resuming and allocation of electricity delivery to consumers using the mechanisms determining economic dangers and threats in the investigated industry. The article provides the classification of threats to the sustainable functioning of electric power industry enterprises. It states that the sustainable development of the electric power complex of the region is ensured by the balanced development of all its functions: generating, transforming, transmitting and commercial metering. The considered issues would contribute to the better understanding of challenges facing power industry which is an important element of the economic environment. |
