Description
Summary:In this paper, we analyzed the features of obtaining radar information, and also determined the advantages of using short pulses in comparison with pulses of long duration. In the course of the study it was determined that the range is limited by the characteristics of the pulse and the propagation loss. Long pulses can be superimposed and interpreted as a single reflected echo or object. Short pulses improve the radar’s resolution by returning individual echoes, but they require a system with a wider bandwidth.
