It characterizes the 1960s as a period of profound social transformations in Colombia and the world. Colombia saw the fall of the military government and the beginning of the Frente Nacional, which implied the restoration of political democracy and important changes in state administration, political parties, and political practices, particularly in Colombia’s National University. Worldwide, the decade witnessed a cultural revolution that transformed the public presence of young people.
