Summary:The article analyzes the experience of application of polymeric (mesh) implants for hiatal closure in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The authors showed the main principles of the choice of mesh implants and recommendations to their usage. Principal technical stages of surgery are described. It is noted, that the application of prostheses had the high efficiency and safety in antireflux surgery.
