Islamic faith-based peacebuilding that is derived from the main sources of Islamic thought - the Qur'an and the Sunna - is the model by which Muslim peacebuilders have tried to solve the problems of Muslim world. The outstanding figure of Islamic peacebuilding is Prophet Muhammad, as he is introduced to be a perfect role model for all humanity in all times. Therefore, we have a glance at the Prophet's tradition in order to illuminate how he behaved in a multicultural and multireligious environment of Medina while attempting to build an integrated community.
