Summary:The paper discusses the clinical presentation and treatment of chronic forms of cerebrovascular diseases (CVD). The combined treatment of patients with chronic CVD comprises antiaggregants (in patients with atherosclerosis of the great arteries of the brain, essential hypertension), indirect anticoagulants (in patients with atrial fibrillation, in a number of patients with coagulation), antihypertensive drugs, statins. Based on the data available in the literature and their findings, the authors analyze whether it is expedient to prescribe cavinton for dyscirculatory encephalopathy.
