Results: This is a mainly female sample (69.4%), predominance of single students (57.2%), 46.2% attends a course in technology and 52.5% attend a course in health care. Gender, marital status, and course interfere in the conduct of dating violence. Are the male students, the course in the field of technology and to attend the 1st year who exhibit more violent behavior dating, especially stalking violence and psychological violence. The adaptability and family cohesion were not significant in physical and sexual violence, stalking and psychological violence. Conclusion: Given the results we propose the implementation of programs (debates and forums) against dating violence in schools, focused on primary prevention.http://www.infad.eu/RevistaINFAD/OJS/index.php/IJODAEP/article/view/234violêncianamoroestudantesensino superioradaptabilidade e coesão familiar
