Old Testament Prototypes for the Hermetic <i>Trishagion</i> in <i>Poimandres</i> 31 – and Support for an Old Conjecture
The opening of the Hermetic <em>Trishagion</em> can be emended, with the help of a papyrus, to show that it evokes the ancient interpretation of <em>YHWH</em> as “I am that I am” and also the biblical “Lord of Hosts.”<br />
